Here we are, January 2015. "A new year, a new me." seems to be the quote of the month and unfortunately it seems to only last for a month. A new year means a new list of "to-do's" and "goals" we are excited to accomplish! But as January comes to an end, so does our zeal and enthusiasm for this "new me". Resolute means to be "admirably purposeful, determined, and unwavering.". So, the first resolution we all should be making is: TO STICK WITH OUR GOALS. I am the queen of loving lists and goals but, I am not one to actually make it entirely through. Hopefully we can stick it out together and finish our resolutions, or at least make it through the year trying! At the end of the day all we can give is our best, so if you're with me and want to make the most out of the year and your resolutions here are some tips to help. :)
2. Write It Out
3. Reason Out Your List
Divide your list into weekly, monthly and then yearly goals.
(If you want to save up $20,000 but have a part time job that pays minimum wage, either lower your moolah goal or give yourself more time than a year.)
That way when you have the urge, or lack there off to finish you have that cute little checklist staring back at you!
I hope these help kick start your new year resolution, but even more so help you stick with it!
Let us know what you have on your list and any helpful way you keep at it! :)
For some motivation read Colossians 3:23:
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,"
Happy New Year!
